Kenny Rampton is an award-winning trumpet player who grew up in Las Vegas and is currently a member of The Jazz@ Lincoln Center Orchestra. Kenny Rampton is the founder of JOI.
Curt Miller
President
Curt Miller has worked as lead trombone chair and music director at hotels including the Desert Inn, The Frontier with Sigfried and Roy, Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Golden Nugget and Treasure Island. He also started Anexeon, one of the state's largest technology firms.
Linda Woodson, MD
Vice President
Linda Woodson, MD is a board certified dermatologist and has been a resident of Las Vegas serving her patients since 1994. She is a Los Angeles native who attended the University of Southern California Medical School. She holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Juliana McRae
Secretary
Juliana McRae has taught vocal music for 32 years at all levels from elementary to college. In Las Vegas, she has served the Las Vegas Philharmonic Guild in capacities including President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Special Advisor.
Daniel B. Philippus, CPA
Treasurer
Daniel B. Philippus, CPA is a 30 year veteran of the music business who also has approximately 20 years of financial planning and accounting experience. He has spent the last 20 years as a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) – Las Vegas Local 369.

Many of Linda Marvin’s fondest memories of growing up in Southern California center around her time playing flute & oboe in her school’s orchestra & marching band programs.
Gary Cordell
Co-Founder, V.P. Education & Programming
JOI Co-founder Gary Cordell is the Vice President of the Las Vegas Musician's Union and a founding member of TAPPS. Gary is the Music Supervisor for the Music Is Love Concert Series at Opportunity Village in Las Vegas and was the original Program Director for JAZZ@NSA.
Bob Bruderman
Director
Bob is a Co-Founder and Director of IconTrust. He has been a senior executive in the trust industry since 2001. He is also registered with FINRA as a Principal since 1977. He had his own SEC registered investment advisory firm until the end of 2017 where he provided comprehensive financial and estate planning advice for high net-worth families.
At his core however, Bob is a serious music lover - especially when it comes to jazz!
Donny Thompson, M.S., NPA
Executive Director
Donny Thompson joined JOI as Secretary in spring 2017 and later served a dual role as Executive Director until fall 2020 when the role was split. Donny holds a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Administration from LSU and a Bachelor of Music from UNLV.

Wynton Marsalis is a world famous American trumpeter, composer, teacher, and recording artist. Wynton Marsalis is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Jazz @ Lincoln Center Orchestra.
Clint Holmes
Artistic Advisor to JOI
GRAMMY® nominee, legendary singer, ​songwriter, entertainer Clint Holmes joined the JOI Board in fall 2020. Prior to joining JOI, Mr. Holmes has supported and participated in JOI's efforts since its inception.
Julius Tolentino
Artistic Advisor to JOI
Julius Tolentino is the Jazz Director at Newark Academy, the Director of Jazz at NJ Youth Symphony, and the Middle School Jazz Academy Director for Jazz @ Lincoln Center.
Vincent Gardner
Artistic Advisor to JOI
Vincent Gardner is an American trombonist, composer, and recording artist. Gardner is the lead trombonist for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Gardner has released four albums on SteepleChase Records.

Nathan Tannenbaum joined our Advisory Board as Media Advisor in August 2019 having followed JOI’s development from its early days, hosted interviews on Channel 8 News with Kenny and members of the JOI team, and attended our functions.

Artistic Advisor to JOI
Jonathan Karrant is one hip jazz vocalist, born to sing and swing with style. Jazz Corner Jonathan was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and raised in a home filled with music and theatrics.

David Loeb is director of the Division of Jazz and Commercial Music and a professor of music in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Music.
