Daniel Philippus

Certified Public Accountant Daniel B. Philippus is the owner of Vivace Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Vivace Musical Productions. He is a 30-year veteran of the music business who also has approximately 20 years of financial planning and accounting experience. Daniel received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies  from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) before obtaining his Master of Science in Accountancy and his license as a CPA. Daniel’s skill sets and experience make him uniquely qualified to serve as the Board Treasurer of JOI. Daniel has spent the last 20 years as a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) – Las Vegas Local 369.


Daniel as a woodwind specialist (saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist) has played an active role in the Las Vegas music community, working with many well respected artists and musicians including: Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Ruben Blades, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Mathis, Burt Bacharach, Natalie Cole, Alicia Keyes, Hugh Jackman, Kevin Spacey, Frank Sinatra Jr., and many more. Daniel’s Broadway and production show experience includes: Steve Wynn’s ShowStoppers (Wynn, Las Vegas), Sinatra Dance with Me (Wynn, Las Vegas), Jersey Boys (Paris, Las Vegas), Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular (Venetian, Las Vegas), Spamalot (Wynn, Las Vegas), Avenue Q (Wynn, Las Vegas), Hairspray (Luxor, Las Vegas), The Book of Mormon (Smith Center, Las Vegas), Evita (Smith Center, Las Vegas), and many more. Daniel has also performed on several PBS television specials including: From Dust to Dreams: Opening Night at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts – 2012, Matt Dusk: Live in Las Vegas – 2010, and David Foster and Friends: Hit Man – 2010.
