Jazz Outreach Initiative Receives Corporate Sponsorship During "JOI of Giving" Campaign

Jazz Outreach Initiative ("JOI") is pleased to announce our most recent Silver Level corporate sponsor during the "JOI of Giving" Annual Fall Fundraising Campaign. The Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra was recently invited to perform for its first time live earlier this month for the Armed Forces, Military Veterans& First Responders Appreciation Day festival at Craig Ranch Park in North Las Vegas.

Local nonprofit, Armed Forces & Military Veterans Appreciation, Inc., lead by North Las Vegas City Councilman, Richard Cherchio and business woman and philanthropist Laura Coleman, presented JOI with a corporate donation to support the continued growth of its programs.

Jazz Outreach Initiative and local corporate sponsors together can connect the language of music to the language of life for youth throughout our community. We thank the AFMVA for their generous support and welcome other local businesses who would like to "Make A Difference" for kids in Southern Nevada. The list of all corporate sponsors and Information on becoming a corporate sponsor at levels as low as just $250 can be found at https://www.jazzoutreachinitiative.org/sponsors and clicking the corporate sponsors button. You may also reach out to schedule a conversation to discuss sponsorship opportunities with JOI's Executive Director, Donny Thompson at DonnyT@joi-lv.org.

The annual "JOI of Giving" fall fundraising campaign (currently running until Dec. 5th) is JOI's largest fundraising effort of the year, helping to fund programs in it's three primary pillars of Outreach, Music Education, and Performance. These outstanding programs include Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra, Buzzin' In Brass, Jazz for Young People Concerts, Band Director Academy, JOI Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Routes, masterclasses and clinics, and the Essentially Ellington Regional High School Jazz Band Festival.
