BDA is a one-day professional development workshop for band directors. Led by a team of prominent jazz educators, we focus on the essentials of teaching jazz, emphasizing hands-on learning and practical techniques.

Typically held on the Sunday following the completion of the Las Vegas Regional Essentially Ellington high School Jazz Band Festival, band directors will be given practical techniques and a wealth of information for teaching jazz ensembles at their schools.  This is one of the most requested and revered education programs we provide.  Band directors frequently rave about the program.
