Forgotten Song Foundation Joins Jazz Outreach Initiative Sponsor Circle

Jazz Outreach Initiative expresses its deep gratitude to the Forgotten Song Foundation for honoring our efforts with a Silver level corporate sponsorship! FSF Executive Director, Ann Parenti said in her card enclosing the grant, "Welcome to the FSF family! We are delighted to add JOI to our awardees this year! Keep up the great work, and congrats!"

From Forgotten Song Foundation's website, "Forgotten Song Foundation, Inc., a registered 501c3 organization, is dedicated to recognizing, remembering, and sustaining the visual artists and performance artistry of live music for future generations.

Forgotten Song Foundation, Inc. [“FSF”] was founded in March of 2015. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the arts in the Las Vegas community and showcase live entertainment, visual artists, dance, and support up-and-coming young adults majoring in the arts at a college level."

JOI's Executive Director, Donny Thompson said, "Jazz Outreach Initiative's goal beyond its dozen education, outreach, and performance programs is to foster greater collegiality and cooperation among Southern Nevada's rich and vibrant arts community as we all work toward a common goal of making Las Vegas a global arts center. Partnerships, friendships, joint efforts, and support for and among the many outstanding local arts nonprofits is a central focus towards meeting that goal."

JOI thanks the Board of Directors and Executive Director Ann Parenti for recognizing the contributions Jazz Outreach Initiative makes to the community and the support of Forgotten Song Foundation which helps drive our mission to connect the language of music to the language of life through education, outreach, and performances.
