Jazz Outreach Initiative Achieves 2025 Platinum Shield from GuideStar/Candid for the 5th Consecutive Year

Did you know that out of 1.7 million nonprofits registered with the IRS only about 78,000 have shield ratings from GuideStar? There are four levels of grading for transparency and other metrics which make up the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Shields.

Jazz Outreach Initiative is proud to be awarded the Platinum Shield rating for the fifth consecutive year! This achievement is attained by fewer than 0.70% of all nonprofits in the US and is a testament to the quality of the work we do, the ethics we adhere to, and the strength of our Board of Directors. Donors and grant organizations look to these important measurements and tend to support these nonprofits with larger gifts over others who have not been rated as highly.
