Wynton Marsalis is approaching the end of his legendary tenure as Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center after nearly four decades leading the world's most prestigious jazz organization. February 27, 2027 in Mesa, Arizona will be among his final performances with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra before his retirement.

A $25 raffle ticket gives you a chance at a trip worth thousands of dollars. It is also a tax-deductible donation to a Platinum-rated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. And it goes directly to fund the programs that are changing lives in Las Vegas right now.
JOI's goal for this year's campaign is $50,000. Every dollar raised funds the education programs, festivals, guest artists, and world-class performances that connect nearly 10,000 Las Vegas students each year to the language of music and the language of life.

If you were at Myron's at The Smith Center on June 17th, you already saw what JOI builds.
In the middle of a sold-out show featuring Grammy-nominated trumpet legend Wayne Bergeron, two young musicians stepped into the spotlight alongside the full Jazz Vegas Orchestra. Kaylee Medley on trumpet and Andrew Fulmer on alto saxophone. Both came up through JOI programs. Both performed that night at a professional level that stopped the room.
That is not a feel-good story. That is a direct result of years of the support JOI provides to the community through high-quality music programs, live jam sessions, and the kind of mentorship that JOI's donors and sponsors make possible every single year.

Founded in 2017 by Kenny Rampton and Gary Cordell, Jazz Outreach Initiative has spent nearly a decade building something rare in Las Vegas: a nationally recognized music education nonprofit with a Platinum GuideStar rating, a world-class performing ensemble, and a pipeline from free summer jazz classes to professional stage that actually works.
The Jazz Vegas Orchestra performs several times a year at venues across the valley, from Notoriety on Fremont Street to Myron's at The Smith Center to Centennial Hills Park Amphitheater. Every performance is both a fundraiser and a demonstration of the mission. Every sold-out room is proof that this community believes in what JOI is doing.
JOI is approaching its 10th anniversary in March 2027. The best way to celebrate a decade of impact is to make sure the next decade is even stronger.
