JOI Jazz Orchestra with Clint Holmes, Featuring World Premier Music from acclaimed local composer Barry Ross

Jazz Outreach Initiative presents the JOI Jazz Orchestra with CLINT HOLMES and World Premier of Music by Legendary Vegas Composer BARRY ROSS. The JOI Jazz Orchestra is the city’s most exciting professional big band, comprised of the area’s top jazz musicians fronted by Grammy® nominated legendary headliner Clint Holmes. 

The JJO has performed for sold-out audiences across the valley and recently recorded an album featuring Wynton Marsalis, Clint Holmes, and Kenny Rampton. In forming this outstanding big band, JOI not only performs big band songbook classics, but seeks to promote and spotlight the incredible world-class talent of local musicians and home grown composers. 

JOI Jazz Orchestra will present a world premier of works written for the band by legendary local composer Barry Ross, who conducted the Nevada Jazz Orchestra which performed for many years. The performance will also be a part of Jazz Outreach Initiative’s annual participation in the global celebration of International Jazz Day.
