Composer, arranger, educator, and trombonist, Nathan Tanouye has grown a global reputation as one of the great composers of our age. As Jazz Vegas Orchestra’s lead trombonist, he has composed and arranged music commissioned for the orchestra for several years. This concert is part of JVO’s new “Homegrown Series” spotlighting the incredible talents of Las Vegas’s local musicians and composers who, like Nathan Tanouye, are quickly rising to legendary status.
Joining the Jazz Vegas Orchestra is celebrated singer/songwriter and headliner, Clint Holmes performing the iconic “Las Vegas Suite!” The 5-movement suite with music by Nathan Tanouye and lyrics by 2-time Grammy® nominee, Clint Holmes was first released in 2019 with the Las Vegas Jazz Connection.
