Tickets to the Saturday evening concert can also be used to access the full two-day high school band performances on Friday Feb 13 and Sat Feb 14. Full festival schedule can be found on our Essentially Ellington page.
The Saturday evening performance includes a Cheer Tunnel with audience members lining up in the Ham Hall atrium lobby around 6:15pm to cheer band students entering into the theater after two full days of performances, clinics, masterclasses, jam sessions, and other learning activities.
The concert will include recognition of outstanding student soloists, performances with select student soloists from across the USA, master jazz artists, and the award winning UNLV Jazz Ensemble 1.
