High school instrumentalists! Come join us for the Spring 2023 Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra Auditions! (Walk-in Auditions will be accepted after the first hour of each audition)

About the event
Audition Requirements:
1) Scales (2 octaves, up and down)
- a) Any Chromatic Scale
- b) Any 2 Major Scales
2) Solo over Blues* (in any key)
- *If submitted as a video audition, this can be performed with a backing track of your choice or solo instrument or voice alone.
3) Perform a solo, etude, or tune of your choice*
- Any transcribed jazz solo, jazz etude, or jazz standard.
- *If submitted as a video audition, this can be performed with a backing track of your choice or solo instrument or voice alone.
Fees: The Registration fee is $125 per semester/$250 for the year. This fee covers classes in Spring 2023. Band Shirt: Unless you already have one, there is a one-time $25 band shirt fee.
All Fees are due by the second rehearsal of the semester.
